Elvis Rivera

Independent Financial Consultant

Elvis Rivera is a first-generation immigrant from Guatemala, a 2025 Bush Fellow, Humphrey Policy Fellow, and Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. His career spans wealth management, institutional consulting, and nonprofit leadership, with a focus on advancing equity and opportunity for underrepresented communities.

He currently serves on the board of the Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs and LatinoLEAD. His past service includes board roles with Prospanica, Green Card Voices, and as an Ethics Investigator for the Ramsey County Bar Association. Elvis also speaks and mentors widely, leading workshops on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at Saint Mary’s University, Elvis’s vision is to help close the racial wealth gap by empowering BIPOC communities through financial education and entrepreneurship. He lives in Minnesota with his two children and lives by the mantra: “Corporate by day, community activist by night, and servant-leader always.”
