Nancy Alvarado-Hazelton is a nationally recognized strategist with over 15 years of experience advancing inclusive economic development, digital innovation, and community resilience through cross-sector collaboration. Nancy has built transformative partnerships across corporate, civic, and nonprofit sectors to drive equity-centered solutions and place-based investments.

A passionate advocate for underserved communities, Nancy has been honored as a Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility and received U.S. Bank’s Legends of Possible award. She brings a systems-level approach to leadership and actively contributes to organizations including the Latino Economic Development Center, ALPFA, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Nancy holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Minnesota, is Scrum Master Certified, and is a graduate of the McKinsey Hispanic Management Accelerator Program. Her work reflects a deep commitment to building inclusive pathways that strengthen education, economic mobility, and community well-being in the Twin Cities and beyond.
