Aleia is a proud alumna from Carleton College. After graduating, Aleia wanted to serve her community in Minnesota. This led her to the Move for America Fellowship, an AmeriCorps VISTA position that teaches the next generation of leaders to bridge civic divides to enact positive change. In this Fellowship, Aleia serves as the Outreach Coordinator with Great MN Schools. Aleia’s background as a Political Science and International Relations Major with a Minor in Educational Studies have fostered a passion for equitable education for all students. Furthermore, Aleia’s past experiences with communications and marketing have prepared her well for this role. She is excited to continue learning and growing in her service as the Great MN Schools Outreach Coordinator.
