George Lefkowicz is a recent graduate of Carleton College, where they earned a degree in Political Science/International Relations and wrote their senior thesis on the way that hegemonic-seeking populists return to high office. During their time at Carleton, George served as the Communications Officer for the Carleton Student Association, was a DJ for Carleton’s student radio station, and won a D1 national championship in Ultimate Frisbee. The child of two teachers and a product of the Atlanta Public Schools system, George is passionate about increasing educational equity and access and is excited to bring fresh ideas and a strong work ethic to their role as a Communications & Engagement Fellow at Great MN Schools.
