Julie Baker

Julie is a long-time champion of high-quality education for all young people, from preschoolers to college students. She currently serves as a trustee of The Minneapolis Foundation, is an emeritus member of Way to Grow’s board of directors, and a former member of the board of directors for the Greater Twin Cities United Way. Julie has been a mentor to first generation students at both Edina High School and the Doherty Family College at the University of St. Thomas.

Prior to her work as a community volunteer, Julie held senior marketing positions at Procter & Gamble and The Pillsbury Company.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University. She and her husband have three adult children.
